Three Forgotten Funnels
Funnels are not hard (don't let anyone tell you otherwise), and they are not magic.
In fact, all the top earners online use funnels in their business... in real life.
They simply took what worked offline, then replicated it online!
Funnels are not new, they are not magic, and we're not reinventing the wheel.
We're not going to deviate from what works and has been proven in the real world.
We're simply taking the same offline process and making an online version of it.
You see people online trying all these tactics and spammy offers — this is NOT that.
The three core funnels for marketing your home-based businesses on the internet replicate proven concepts that have worked for brick and mortar businesses offline.
Online funnels mimic the effectiveness of selling face-to-face, offline, or in person.
They create an automated system where your potential customers comes to you.
Most importantly, they create an environment where you can sell to them online.
Let's identify the selling process that happens offline, face-to-face, and in person, so you can see how to make it work inside of a funnel you build quickly and easily.
Forgotten Funnel 1: Three Way Meetings
When you study those successful entrepreneurs who have built great businesses, you see they understand that when they first bring someone into their organization, that is when the new member is at their most vulnerable state of being influenced.
This is when they know the least about the organization's product and/or service, and they have fears about ideal potential customers they'll be presenting offers to, because from their viewpoint, they don't have any credibility or their own story yet.
So what they'll often do is get someone in the organization who has experience to join a three way meeting with the new member and their ideal potential customers.
The experienced member takes the stress and fear away from the new member, then presents the product, service, and/or opportunity with potential customers.
The new member simply introduces and edifies the member who has experience, then the experienced member shares their story, and makes an irresistible offer.
Together, the experienced member and new member create a "bridge" between potential customers and the product, service, and/or opportunity being offered.
After the new member has worked with the experienced member a couple of times, they feel a lot more comfortable sharing the experienced member's personal story, and presenting the product, service, and/or opportunity to any potential customers.
Once the new member is confident, they can create their own "bridge" between potential customers and the product, service, and/or opportunity being offered.
Those successful entrepreneurs who have built a profitable home-based business understand that by helping the new members to create a "bridge" in the beginning, allows them to get hands-on learning, as well as feeling comfortable making offers, even before they have a lot of experience, which is very beneficial and important, so the new member can continue to grow their mindset, skill set, and business.
This is how new members can experience results and success FASTER offline.
It worked yesterday, it works today, and it'll continue to work in the future; forever.
When executing the same process online using the internet, it does not change.
We replicate the process online using a funnel.
For some reason, when people come online, they go crazy trying new strategies, but if you want your ideal potential customers to get the offers you make to them, then you need to follow the fundamentals of what has already been proven offline.
When you take the fundamentals of three way meetings offline, and bring it online, we call this the Bridge Funnel, and I'll dig into the mechanics in a future blog post.
Forgotten Funnel 2: Home Party Selling
I remember the time my wife told me she was going to an essential oil home party.
As a marketing guy, I was so excited, I begged her to take me along.
She was embarrassed that I wanted to go, but I wanted to see the party in action.
I also wanted to see what I could learn from the process.
First, we got a babysitter for the kids, then we went to the party.
I was the only guy in the room, so I kind of hid in the back and kept quiet.
I didn't want to raise any extra attention that would embarrass my wife.
I carefully watched how the demonstration of the essential oil products unfolded, and how the host of the party transitioned from demonstration to making an offer.
The party vibe was positive because the guests were watching the demonstrations, and hanging out with a bunch of other people who were interested in the products.
You could feel the excitement growing all throughout the room's atmosphere.
The host of the party was really nervous and kind of struggled to make an offer, but even though her pitch wasn't perfect, the story she told about the essential oils, and the demonstrations, together, helped her to acquire new customers that night.
Home parties work because guests can experience the products with no pressure, and there's also the Fear Of Missing Out (FOMO) benefit the host can capitalize on.
When guests sees others buy, it helps them make a decision to buy something too.
That's the Fear Of Missing Out (FOMO).
The power behind home parties isn't just about acquiring new potential customers.
The real power comes when the host explains how she generates monthly income, helps people become loyal customers, and helps new business partners succeed.
She explains to her guests that they can support her business by purchasing oils, and/or become an affiliate to share products with others to earn monthly income, then proceeds to ask her guests, "Who would like to host their own home party?"
This is how one party turns into more with the help of the previous party's host.
Guests who decide to become affiliates can promote the essential oils and profit, and those who just want to purchase essential oils as customers can do that too.
Home parties create a no pressure environment, so it's easier for guests to decide.
A lot of people get online and forget what has already been proven to work offline.
The first time I saw real success online was when I created a Home Party Funnel.
I'll explain how it works in a future blog post, but I want to share the results I got.
I used the Home Party Funnel to increase my monthly recurring revenue in weeks.
Unlike real home parties, the Home Party Funnel can actually keep the party going, even after all the guests have enjoyed themselves and finally leave the online event.
We'll dig into the mechanics of how to keep the party going in a future blog post.
Forgotten Funnel 3: The Hotel Meeting
The very first hotel meeting I went to, I was invited by a friend.
He said, "Hey, the other day I went to this meeting that presented an opportunity, and the guy is making money online with a home-based business in a simple way. There's a meeting at least once every month. Would you be interested in coming?"
I don't know about you, but for me, the answer to that question will always be YES!
When I arrived, there were about forty to fifty people in the room.
My friend told me that the previous month there had only been about ten people, but since each person had brought a few friends, the group was growing quickly.
Sure enough, the presenter did a great job on stage.
He sold the product and he sold the opportunity, but then he did something special, which was the reason he ended up being one of the top earners in the organization.
At the end of the presentation, he told everyone who became a customer or affiliate that he would be having another meeting next week, and they can leverage his help by inviting guests to the meeting and allowing him to answer any of their questions.
It's so simple and powerful.
The last step is how he's helped so many people succeed in their business offline.
The next week there were seventy five people in the room.
The week after that, one hundred and fifty people attended the meeting.
In a short time period, he was hosting weekly meetings with hundreds of people.
The Hotel Meeting Funnel is designed to...
- Introduce ideal potential customers to the product, service, and/or opportunity.
- Create the opportunity for you to increase your monthly recurring revenue.
- Show potential customers how they can profit by inviting others to the meetings.

Who are you talking to?
Going back to the roots of how to build a home-based business using the internet, there's a reason why some people are SO successful and bypass all these phases.
They aren't selling to friends and family every day.
They aren't spamming social media.
They don't use the anti-sales department or affiliate websites to close their sales.
They don't forget about having a reliable, efficient, and affordable system in place.
The people who have success building a home-based business using the internet, they use three core funnels, and that's what I'll talk about in the the next blog post.
